Christophe Théron has a wide expertise in Business litigation and insolvency procedures.  For more than 30 years, he as been assisting clients (investment funds, ETIs, SMEs, founders and corporate executives, shareholders, financial institutions and banks)  in numerous commercial, financial and civil matters.

 

Christophe has developed a recognised expertise in the restructuring of LBOs in difficulty, in the context of amicable procedures (ad hoc mandate, conciliation) or collective proceedings (safeguard, receivership)

Christophe has acquired a strong notoriety in the field of restructuring, and in particular with the judicial world : commercial courts, administrators, judicial agents.

 

He began his career with Gide Loyrette Nouel in 1989 before joining Moquet Borde (now Paul Hastings) in 1996, where he became a partner in the litigation and restructuring team in 2000. In 2004, he founded his own structure dedicated to the Restructuring and business litigation before joining HPML in 2015. In 2018, he founded VALTHER with Velin Valev.

He holds a Private Law Master degree (DEA) from Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne University.

Christophe is a member of the ARE (Association for Business Turnover) and AFFIC (French Association for the Consular Institution (Commercial Court of Paris).
